We ask our patients to visit the surgery if at all possible, as our doctors can see several patients at the practice in the time it takes to make a single home visit. Home visits are only offered to patients who are unable to leave the house for medical reasons, and whose condition is clinically urgent.
Babies and children can almost always be brought to the surgery even when ill.
To request a home visit, please:
- Call the surgery on 024 7645 7551 before 10.30am.
- You will be required to go through the questions with our receptionist on your patches online account, explaining your symptoms.
- Be prepared to tell the receptionist about your condition so we can prioritise the most urgent cases and arrange the most appropriate course of action.
- Ensure the surgery has up to date details of your address and telephone number.
- The on call duty GP will be be notified of the home visit request and will be in contact with you.
***Please note if you are out of the practice catchment area then we will be unable to provide a home visit under any circumstances. If this applies to you and you feel that you may require home visits now or in the future, then you should consider registering with an alternative GP surgery who can provide this service for you.***
