Only essential services will be offered from now on, below is a list of essential services the practice will be offering.

Covid 19 High RIsk Patients:

This guidance is for people, including children, who are at very high risk of severe illness from coronavirus (COVID-19) because of an underlying health condition, and for their family, friends and carers.

Protect extremely vulnerable people from Covid-19

Essential Services:

  • Child immunisations
  • Depo Injections (mental health & high risk patients)
  • Suspected cancer symptoms
  • Prescriptions (sent electronically to nominated chemist only)
Please Note Prescription quantities are restricted to max 1 month
  • Sick notes:
  • Normal sick notes will be sent electronically

Covid 19 sick notes / self isolation notes should be downloaded from NHS 111 online

Please note that all future calls from the practice may be from a withheld number due to home working.

We have moved to a telephone triage appointment system for all patients.

We will only be seeing patients face to face if it has been prearranged by telephone.  We are also trialing video links in some situations.

We have also decided to reduce all essential visits to the surgery and therefore the door will be closed with access only by doorbell.

We are asking our patients to try and contact us only by phone and we will be sending information electronically e.g. prescriptions and sick notes. These will now all be electronic.  If you would normally collect your prescription from the surgery please can you let us know your contact details and which chemist you would like to be linked to for future prescriptions.

Please follow NHS and government advice and be aware that this may change daily.

Please use the symptom checker on 111 online which will help you decide what to do.

We hope all our patients understand the pressure on all of the NHS and we ask that you stay safe and support each other.
